11+ Half Mock Exam

Service Description

Each half mock exam consists of one paper (breakdown below) in the GL Assessment format that will be used to complete the Gloucestershire Grammar School Entrance Exam in September. The exams will provide: Invaluable experience in exam technique & timing > Opportunities to mark own papers, receive immediate feedback & support with incorrect answers > Feedback from an experienced tutor > Opportunity to complete tests in exam conditions with peers, helping to reduce anxiety for the final exam The exam will last approximately 45 - 50 minutes in total. Each section will be individually timed to reflect the format of the real exam. The paper will be marked together and each student will be supported in working through their incorrect answers by a qualified teacher. Parents will be provided with an anonymous results sheet which sets their child's score in context against peer results and gives a break down of scores in each section of the exam. There are 4 different mock exams available to book: > 29/07/23 - 9:00 & 11:00 - English & Verbal Reasoning (with Stuart) > 05/08/23 - 9:00 & 11:00 - Maths & Non-verbal Reasoning (with Stuart) > 09/08/23 - 9:00 & 11:00 - English & Verbal Reasoning (with Stuart) > 30/08/23 - 9:30 & 11:20 - Maths & Non-verbal Reasoning (with Karen)
